Raya

Whether Raya is two humans who became one deity, or one deity with split personalities, is unclear, and he/she laughs at the question. Raya is one of the formerly mortal deities. Raya is the human trickster deity, the lover of laughter, freedom from inhibitions, and change. He/she likes to switch from being male to female at a moment’s notice, marvels at the wonder of creation, and desires to recreate everything and create new things. A good joke, a well crafted illusion, all these things Raya appreciates. Raya is an impetuous deity and can’t stand to sit still for a second. Mercurial in nature and temperament, the other human gods typically find her/him more annoying than anything else, while Us considers Raya the most fun she’s had in eons. The gnomes have taken to worshiping Raya as a patron deity as a love of tricks. Raya wants anything in its altars, and doesn’t care much, as long as it’s unique and new.

Raya’s depictions are almost always of the deity flowing from one form to another. There is only one rule in depicting Raya: he/she can never appear the same in any two depictions. Raya’s holy symbol is two masks shifting into and out of each other. Raya’s favored weapon is the whip, and grants the following Domains: Artifice, Chaos, Liberation, Luck, Madness, Travel, and Trickery. Raya is Chaotic Neutral.
